Coming from the streets into a situation where a lot of money and people are involved can be tough. Critics have done Gucci Mane in for various reasons and have classified him as a street thug. Often at the center of some form of controversy, Gucci Mane recently angered many when he assaulted a soldier.
At the mixtape release party for Trap God 2, Gucci Mane was approached by an Atlanta-based soldier. The event took place at Atlanta’s Harlem Nightclub and the soldier approached Gucci Mane to take a picture. Instead of a picture, the man was hit in the head by a bottle from Gucci Mane.
When several rappers were getting arrested and going to prison, Gucci Mane was in that number. The Brick Squad leader spent the bulk of 2009-2010 in prison, but has returned with a renewed focus on his music. But, due to his legal history, Gucci Mane has been denied bond in his case.
