Gucci Mane disses Jeezy on Rumors by mentioning his dead friend
In 2020, the impossible happened, when Gucci Mane agreed to do Verzuz with Jeezy. There was a time when these guys couldn’t even be in the same room. At the height of their beef, Gucci Mane dropped a song called “Truth,” where he mentioned Jeezy’s friend who died.
Jeezy went on Hot 97, after the Verzuz, speaking on Gucci dissing him at Verzuz. He went onto discuss them ending their beef, saying he knew Gucci Mane was genuine in that. Since 2020, Gucci Mane and Jeezy have been on tour, alongside some others from that era.
Yesterday, Gucci Mane returned with his new single, “Rumors,” featuring Lil Durk. This may have become the biggest record of the year, so far. Gucci Mane remains highly popular, while Lil Durk has become one of the game’s most-popular rappers, period. While fans love the song, Gucci Mane has people talking more, earlier today, after people played the song back. Once again, Gucci Mane brought Jeezy’s dead friend up, dissing his former foe. Likely, Jeezy won’t respond to Gucci Mane, seeing how he’s said he’s focused on peace and positiveness, as opposed to petty beef.
