Gucci Mane got himself in shape and was all about the future. However, when Gucci was asked about his ongoing feuds with Jeezy and Waka Flocka Flame, he was not open to ending them. However, Gucci Mane did do songs with Nicki Minaj and Tyga, after having a public spat with them both on Twitter. In 2020, Gucci Mane actually made amends with Jeezy, at Verzuz.
Gucci Mane highlighted the Verzuz by performing “Truth.” In the performance, Gucci held nothing back, including the line about Pookie. When the beef with Jeezy was real, Gucci Mane actually killed Jeezy’s close friend, Pookie. After that, Gucci Mane beat the charges, and rapped about it on “Truth.” For an event about peace, Gucci Mane reciting that line made it tense. However, Gucci and Jeezy still put their beef on pause.
Gucci Mane recently released a single called “Dissin’ The Dead.” The title is self-explanatory, as Gucci Mane is telling rappers to stop doing that. On Twitter, Gucci Mane caught a lot of backlash. Fans pointed out that Gucci Mane is one of the rappers who started that trend. As a result, Gucci Mane was called a hypocrite by a lot of fans.
