Embattled rapper, Gucci Mane has endured a tough run over the past six months. It saw him take a lot of losses. With mounting charges against him, there was the possibility of Gucci Mane not seeing the light of day for a long time. The Atlanta rapper was facing potentially twenty years in prison.
Back in December, Gucci Mane was charged with two counts of possessing a firearm as a felon. If convicted, this is what could land Gucci Mane in prison for the next twenty years. This week, Gucci Mane was to stand trial, but there has been a pushback in the trial.
Gucci Mane is negotiating with the federal government, according to RadarOnline. A plea deal is currently being worked out on Gucci Mane’s behalf to cut down the plea deal and they have asked for a delay in the trial date. This delay is only because some of the lawyers working on the case have asked for time off.
