Never sleep on Gucci Mane because no other rapper drops music as consistently as he does, or dominates the streets the way he does. When it comes to the mixtape presence, a lot of artists have modeled themselves after Gucci Mane. But, Gucci Mane proved he could also have a presence on the mainstream.
In 2009, Gucci Mane’s career reached new heights and he released his major label debut album. The State vs. Radric Davis was the album and it featured “Spotlight” featuring legendary singer, Usher, and “Lemonade.” Both songs have gone on to become classic hits from Gucci.
This year has been a much different animal for Gucci Mane than 2013 was, but he still can deliver that heat. His latest project is The State vs. Radric Davis II: The Caged Bird Sings, which is due on Christmas Day. Gucci Mane released the artwork for the upcoming project today.
