Gucci Mane speaks on Big Scarr’s passing
On Thursday night, hip-hop lost another one of its rising stars. This time, this is 22-year-old Big Scarr, who was signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 record label. It’s unclear how exactly Scarr passed, but many on social media began to spread the word, that he suddenly lost his life.
Gucci Mane is now speaking out, on the tragic passing of Scarr. He took to Instagram to post several photos with the late Memphis rapper, as he said “This hurt 😢 I’m a miss you @bigscarr 💔.” Gucci included photos of himself with Scarr performing in Las Vegas, as well as Scarr posing with stacks of money, in front of Caesars Palace.
Prior to Scarr passing, he was one of the hottest rappers out of Memphis. He’s been signed to 1017 over the past two years, as his latest project was his “Big Grim Reaper: The Return” mixtape. Scarr delivered 30 songs, as well as collaborations with Offset, Gucci Mane, Pooh Shiesty, and more. He also appeared on various 1017 compilations albums and mixtapes, since 2020.
