Before going to prison, in 2013, Gucci Mane had a lot going for him, despite everything falling apart around him. Even with him having the falling out with Flocka, Gucci had a roster of promising artists. He had acts like Migos, Young Thug, and PeeWee Longway he was raising.

Gucci Mane would allow each artist to move into their own situation, in the wake of his sentencing. Already, Migos were making noise, but 2014 would see Young Thug be the breakout artist. But, in the long run, it would become Migos’ game.

When Gucci Mane returned from prison, in 2016, he returned to a game that Migos dominated. On his comeback run, Gucci Mane would turn to the trio for “I Get The Bag,” one of his long list of hits, since his 2016 return. This morning, Gucci Mane told the story of his first meeting with Migos, where he made a lot of claims.

Gucci Mane took to his IG with a long message, where he told of how he met Migos wearing fake chains. He claimed he took them off, giving them two chains he was wearing for them to have. In addition to that, Gucci Mane claimed he paid Offset’s lawyer to get him out of jail, which led to Takeoff speaking out.

Takeoff would reply to Gucci, calling his comments “ALL CAP,” to which Gucci said he was “cap,” adding “you ain’t forgot,” and Takeoff never replied.
