Gucci Mane wants to sign B.G. after he’s released from prison

On Tuesday, footage went viral or who many believed to have been B.G. released from prison. However, this ended up being false, as this was simply a man who appeared to resemble B.G. The background scene of the location also seemed to be an “arrivals” area of an airport.

With this B.G. release rumor, many artists were ready to welcome him home. This included Gucci Mane, who took to Twitter to say that he wanted to sign B.G. to his 1017 Records label. However, he even wanted him to give B.G. $1 million in this deal.

B.G. is currently in the middle of a 14-year prison sentence. A conditional release request in 2021 was also denied. The New Orleans rapper is serving time at California’s FCI Herlong Detention Center. B.G.’s release date as of now, is scheduled for April 7, 2024. B.G. was initially sentenced back in 2012, for a federal gun charge. Birdman had also been hinting at his fellow Cash Money Records label mate finally coming home soon.

As for Gucci, he’s been building his 1017 record label, for over a decade. His recent signees include Pooh Shiesty, Enchanting, Foogiano, Big Scarr, and more.
