Gunna launches income program to support Atlanta families
Gunna is making a major impact with a new initiative aimed at helping families in the South Fulton area of Atlanta. In collaboration with the Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC), Gunna is introducing the Gunna x BMAC 30349 Guaranteed Income Program, providing $1,000 monthly to 30 households for an entire year. The program, launching October 1, 2024, will inject $360,000 into the community, offering a significant financial lifeline to those who qualify.
Beyond financial aid, the families selected for this program will gain access to mentorship in industries like music, film, fashion, and tech—fields where Gunna has found major success. As a result, the rapper shared that his goal is to uplift his hometown by delivering resources that can drive lasting change, saying, “This is about creating real opportunities for my community.”
Furthermore, this generous move comes on the heels of Gunna’s successful “One Of Wun” album release in May, which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. The 20-track project, featuring singles like “Prada Dem” with Offset and “WhatsApp (Wassam),” has been a hit with fans. Gunna also wrapped up his Bittersweet Tour in May, alongside rising star Flo Milli.
Gunna’s dedication to his hometown and his philanthropic efforts through the guaranteed income program showcase his desire to give back in meaningful ways. Keep an eye on this game-changing initiative as it launches in October, with hopes of uplifting lives and creating long-term opportunities for South Fulton families.
