Gunna goes platinum with latest hit single “Fukumean”

Gunna’s “Fukumean” single goes platinum
Gunna has had an epic 2023, since the start of the summer. He released his first post-prison release project, which was “A Gift & A Curse,” as that went on to see a number three in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. Furthermore, it was led by his “Bread & Butter” single, which debuted at number 48 on the Billboard Hot 100.
However, the biggest record off of Gunna’s album, and even possibly of the summer in general, was “Fukumean.” This peaked at number four on the Hot 100, and even became the most streamed rap song in the US, in 2023.
Moreover, Fukumean has also reached another major milestone. It is now certified platinum in the US. This comes after selling over a million units.
This milestone comes after Gunna performed in his first two shows since being released from prison. These took place in New York City and Los Angeles, over the past month. In the aftermath of Gunna’s huge success with his “A Gift & A Curse” album, many hope that Gunna will expand into a full tour soon, as well. Gunna sold out both venues in NYC and LA, which were held inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and Kia Forum in Inglewood.
