He was facing years of prison time. However, Gunna accepted a plea deal and was freed. People accused him of informing on Young Thug.
Gunna, as a result, has lost a lot of support. However, he has gained his freedom. This freedom has come at a price. When Gunna was one of the rising stars, he had the support of the industry.
