Gunna was in the hospital earlier this week, as the reason was unclear. His YSL record label mate, Young Thug, paid a visit to him though, where he gifted Gunna four luxury watches. These included Audemar Piguets and Cartier. Now, the Atlanta rapper is speaking on his recent hospitalization, as he’s back home.
Gunna took to his Instagram to say that he was dealing with pneumonia. He also encouraged fans to make sure to stay healthy.
“I feel better. I’m out of the hospital. I had pneumonia really really bad. Health is wealth. Everybody take care of your body.”
A few months ago, Thug and Gunna won big, as they put out their “Slime Language 2” album with their YSL label mates. It became the number one album in the US, and Thug and Gunna’s second straight number one. Thug hit the top of the charts with his “So Much Fun” project in 2019, and Gunna hit the top in 2020 with “WUNNA.” Slime Language 2 contained 31 tracks, with appearances from Meek Mill, Travis Scott, Drake, DaBaby, Future, and more.
