Gunna says he’s “on the way” on Instagram
Last December, Gunna reached a plea deal in his YSL RICO case, that would finally get him out of jail, that month. He admitted that YSL is in fact a gang, and isn’t simply just a record label. Gunna was sentenced to five years in prison, as one was already served. The rest of the four-year sentence was suspended, as he will serve the rest as 500 hours of community service.
However, Gunna has been very quiet on social media, since being released from jail. This comes as Young Thug remains in jail, as he’s been denied motions for bond, four times, since last year. The initial indictment had Thug, Gunna, and 26 other YSL members. As a result, in addition to Gunna, many other YSL members reached plea deals, but Thug hasn’t been granted that opportunity, as he’s being viewed as the leader of YSL’s crimes.
Furthermore, Gunna is now finally speaking out on social media. A Gunna fan page on Instagram asked where he’s been, and Gunna replied in the comments section, saying “I’m OTW.” (On the way) However, it’s still unclear when new music is coming, as well as any upcoming concerts.
