Gunna’s “A Gift & A Curse” album debuts at number three in US
Last week, Gunna delivered his first album since being released from jail, back in December. This is “A Gift & A Curse,” as the Atlanta rapper announced the project several days before its release date. 15 tracks were included on A Gift & A Curse, as Gunna handled every record solo. Prior to the album being released, he put out his “Bread & Butter” single, earlier this month.
Many wondered if Gunna’s latest project would do well, due to allegations of him snitching on Young Thug and other YSL members. However, the numbers are in, as Gunna just had a very solid first week.
A Gift & A Curse has debuted at number three in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. According to Chart Data, 85,000 units were sold over the past week. 112.65 million on demand-streams were accumulated as well.
A Gift & A Curse is also Gunna’s first project since putting out his chart-topping “DS4EVER” album, in January 2022. At the time, that went on to become the YSL rapper’s third straight number one overall album. The previous one was “Wunna,” in May 2020. In between was the YSL “Slime Language 2” album in the summer of 2021.
