2023 has been a massive one for Gunna, following the release from him in jail in December 2022. In the summer, the Atlanta rapper dropped off his new “A Gift & A Curse” album. Moreover, that project contained 15 songs, and was led by his “Bread & Butter” single. This album came a year and a half after Gunna’s Billboard 200 chart-topping “DS4EVER” album.
However, the biggest record from Gunna’s A Gift & A Curse album went on to be “Fukumean.” Therefore, it went on to peak at number four in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is also certified platinum by the RIAA, in the US.
Meanwhile, Fukumean has reached another major milestone. It is now the most streamed rap song in the US, for 2023. That came as a result of accumulating over 400 million streams.
Following Gunna’s initial release of his A Gift & A Curse album, he went on to have two concerts, this fall. These were held in Brooklyn, as well as Los Angeles. Furthermore, fans across the United States are hoping that a full on tour will be announced, for sometime in 2024.
