The internet shut down last week with all the mixtape releases. One of the biggest mixtape releases was Gunplay. Maybach Music’s wildchild released his new project last week to positive reviews. Gunplay finds his buzz picking up, as he is one of Miami’s fastest-rising rappers.
Acquitted is the name of the mixtape and his current legal status. Things fell right into place for Gunplay, as he prepares his debut album. Def Jam is currently preparing for the release of his Living Legend album. There is a lot Gunplay is involved in and he has a lot more coming up.
DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, and Angela Yee sat down with Gunplay this morning for the latest edition of “The Breakfast Club” on Power 105.1. During this interview, Gunplay talked about the new mixtape, Acquitted, being a free man, the 50 Cent feud, and his upcoming debut album. Suddenly, Gunplay is the hottest member within the MMG camp.
