H.E.R. Calls Out Critics Who Say She’s an “Industry Plant” – “Y’all Got The Game Twisted”

A few weeks ago, H.E.R. finally delivered her debut studio album, Back Of My Mind. This was led by hit singles such as “Slide” feat. YG, “Damage,” and “Come Through” feat. Chris Brown. Additional appearances included Lil Baby, Cordae, Ty Dolla $ign, Bryson Tiller, and more. BOMM ended up debuting at number six on the Billboard 200 chart.

Now, the R&B star is calling out haters who are making an odd claim about her. That is that she’s supposedly an “industry plant.” H.E.R. soon took to her Instagram stories to shut that down.

“I’ve seen many bands and artists with a “small” amount of followers sell out MSG and headline some huge festivals. Y’all think everyone’s underrated or an “industry plant” with massive success outside of Instagram. Y’all got the game twisted.”

In the end, H.E.R. still remains one of the biggest artists in the world right now. In addition to the success of her BOMM album, she announced this week that her Lights On Festival is coming to Concord, CA this fall. This will feature herself, Bryson Tiller, Erykah Badu, and more.
