Hakeem and Jamal’s #Empire video shoot reminds fans of “California Love;” Twitter reacts to their fight and Hakeem stabbing Jamal’s portrait #EmpireSeason2

Last night, “Empire” saw a lot of tension rise and a lot of tides begin to shift. Despite the above photo, Hakeem (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) was all for peace with his family, mainly Jamal (Jussie Smollett). Family unity came after the FBI raids on Lucious (Terrence Howard)’s office.

Once Lucious’ home and also Cookie’s (Taraji P. Henson) office were raided, Thirsty (Andre Royo) held a family meeting. Here, they decided to unite against Roxanne Ford (Tyra Ferrell) and the feds. But, the tension was still there.

Hakeem left Empire and leaked his album online, meanwhile Jamal was running the company and did a feature with Rolling Stone. Even if it’s not said, Hakeem has to be jealous of this, especially with the photographer giving Jamal his portrait in the middle of the video shoot. Hakeem was set off, Lucious taunted him, so he stabbed the portrait, delighting his father, and fought his brother, causing a big stir online.
