The fall finale of “Empire” has come full circle, with a few new players involved. Tonight’s episode began with Lucious and Anika (Terrence Howard and Grace Gealey) in bed. Meanwhile, Jamal (Jussie Smollett) is back to dealing with a controversial man.
Differences are Lucious’ mother, Leah (Leslie Uggams), now being a factor, along with Tariq (Morocco Omari) and Shyne (Xzibit). Other new additions are Cookie’s (Taraji P. Henson) new man, Angelo (Taye Diggs), and his mom, Diana (Phylicia Rashad). Quite the dynamic.
However, the biggest reversal has been Hakeem and Tiana (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray and Serayah) finding their way back to each other. It was completed with their kiss during their performance. “Empire” fans loved it and have celebrated Gram (Romeo Miller) being out of the picture.
