Halle Bailey reveals new “The Little Mermaid” trailer during Oscars

Over the past year, there has been plenty of buzz surrounding Halle Bailey in the upcoming “The Little Mermaid” film. This is set to release on May 26, as the teaser trailer for it was unveiled, last fall.

However, a full new trailer for The Little Mermaid was revealed by Halle, while on stage at the Oscars. This was done so on Sunday night, as the Oscars was being held inside the Dolby Theatre, in Los Angeles. Halle is playing the iconic role of Ariel, 35 years after the original Little Mermaid film was introduced to the world.

Halle initially soared to stardom in 2020, as she and her sister Chloe were known for their “Chloe x Halle” group. The two are still signed together to Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment record label, as well as Columbia Records. 2020 saw the two see massive success together with their “Do It” single and “Ungodly Hour” sophomore album. Halle has also trended over the past year, due to her relationship with DDG.
