Harry Belafonte wants to arrange a sit-down with Jay-Z and Beyonce

A lot of people who have had disagreements and public feuds have managed to come together for a united cause, justice for Trayvon Martin. Everyone who follows the national news knows about Trayvon Martin and his unfortunate death at the hands of George Zimmerman. Harry Belafonte is among those peacefully fighting.

Other people who have stepped up, tremendously, are Jay-Z and Beyonce. Last year, they both were called out by Harry Belafonte for backing out on their social responsibilities. Often being called out by people, Jay-Z and Beyonce brushed it off, ignoring his comments.

Harry Belafonte talked to MSNBC’s “All in with Chris Hayes” about the Dream Defenders movement that includes Jamie Foxx and Chuck D. He said he hopes his comments were not taken personally by Jay-Z and Beyonce. Belafonte then said he hopes to have a sit-down meeting with the power couple.
