Last spring, Havoc aired Prodigy out on Twitter. Ripping into his partner, Havoc said Prodigy is gay, thinks he is Jay-Z, and secretly in love with Rihanna. Once the media caught wind of the story, Havoc denied making the posts and then he and Prodigy attended the New York Knicks’ playoff game.

Weeks later, Mobb Deep effectively ended and Havoc released a song that dissed his former partner. Before the end of the year, Havoc and Prodigy reunited, but plans were already set in motion for his own new album. This week, Havoc released 13, his third studio album.

Calling into Sirius XM’s Rude Jude, Havoc talked about the Mobb Deep situation. Fixing the reputation of his lyrical brother, Havoc admitted Prodigy is not really gay. In the interview, Havoc also revealed Mobb Deep is already halfway done with their first album in seven years.
