Havoc releases “Gone” single cover

Mobb Deep has gone back and forth so much, no one is really sure what the status of the duo is. It was 2006 when Mobb Deep last released an album and since then, Prodigy focused more on his solo music. Last spring, Mobb Deep announced they had gone an indefinite hiatus, with Havoc dissing Prodigy on Twitter.

With their hiatus officially on, Prodigy announced he and Havoc had talked and they soon would be returning to form. Prodigy confirmed a new Mobb Deep album in 2013, their first in seven years. There may or may not be a new Mobb Deep album coming this year, but Havoc is planning to release his 13 album this year.

Havoc will face off against LL Cool J on May 7, as 13 and Authentic have the same release date. Two months down and two more to go, Havoc is preparing to release the latest single off 13. “Gone” is the name of the track and the official cover for it was released earlier today.
