Baxter is one half of the new Facebook super couple, Heather and Baxter. These two responded to an ad from a photographer, asking for a single man, and a single woman to do a photo shoot. Meeting for the first time, Baxter and Heather immediately clicked and exchanged phone numbers, with their story going viral on Facebook. Immediately, Chelsea Smith, Baxter's wife, spoke out, saying it hurts her to see her husband in these photos, even though they are separated, and she gained much sympathy. However, Baxter wasn't having any of that, taking to Facebook to explain that he and Chelsea separated back in January, but their divorce has been delayed, due to COVID-19, and that he told Chelsea about the photo shoot, ahead of time, so she knew, but no one knew they would go viral. Regarding Heather, Baxter said he told her all about Chelsea, and she agreed to not pursue him until he and Chelsea are divorced.

However, the Heather and Baxter love story had one issue, Chelsea Smith, Baxter’s wife. Chelsea told the story about Baxter being her husband, though separated, but it still hurt seeing him in the “Strangers Session” photos, when they have two kids. More to the story, Baxter would again speak out, letting it be known that he and Chelsea split in January, with plans to divorce delayed by COVID-19, he told her about the shoot, told Heather he was married, and she agreed to not pursue him until his divorce was finalized.
