It would definitely be a stretch to say race relations are at an all-time low, but things are bad. Consistently, since the 1950s, work has been underway for equality of all. Specifically, that is what Martin Luther King died for.

However, since the 2010s, race relations have slowly become the worst that they’ve been, since the Civil Rights Movement. It has become commonplace to see videos of racial slurs being hurled at people. That is actually viewed as a good thing, seeing how no one was shot.

Heather Patton recently went viral, as the CVS woman. She was upset and went on a racist rant, against black people, throwing the n-word around. Rightfully, she faced a lot of backlash, as people found her on social media, leading to her IG Story apology, and her deleting her Instagram account.
