HHV Exclusive: Amara La Negra talks “Unstoppable” EP, “Love & Hip Hop Miami” drama, and whether she should return for season three

The summer of 2017 saw VH1 all but confirm “Love & Hip Hop” was going to another city. Since everybody figured it out, Mona Scott-Young confirmed the rumors of “Love & Hip Hop Miami” on “The Breakfast Club.” When the promos began, one person stood out from the rest.

Amara La Negra was the face that stuck out among the rest, as she did her thing, in those promos. When the show began, in 2018, Amara remained the show’s breakout star. It says a lot that she managed to stand out, with people like Trick Daddy and Trina on the show.

During Amara La Negra’s Unstoppable release party, Hip-HopVibe.com got the chance to speak to her, for the first time. The reality TV/music star spoke on her project and her emerging music career. On the show, she had her drama, this season, leading to her debating whether she should stay on “Love & Hip Hop Miami.”
