HHV Exclusive: Antonique Smith talks getting burned by the curling iron and police brutality at #BlackGirlsRock

The world best knows Antonique Smith for portraying Faith Evans in the biopic for The Notorious B.I.G., Notorious. Since then, she’s secured acting roles in many other prominent films. She played in Stock Option and will also be in Deuces.

Aside from acting, Antonique Smith has a prominent music career. In her time as an artist, she has worked with the likes of Queen Latifah, on one of her albums. With 2017 coming to a slow close and 2018 on the horizon, Antonique Smith has a lot planned.

Antonique Smith caught up with Hip-HopVibe.com on the Black Girls Rock red carpet, speaking with @MJThatMediaGurl. When she spoke, she told the story of being a black woman. She shared a memory of being burned by the curling iron and she also touched on police brutality.
