New Jersey is home and it feels good to represent there and do interviews there, but professionally, Chicago has shown a lot of support. Because Chicago shows so much support, it’s only right to show some back. The Chicago scene is so wide and diverse, with Boss Baka being a major player there.
Due to their abundant presence on the XXL freshman cover and the ongoing beefs, the city of Chicago and their rap scene are always in the news. But, Boss Baka keeps himself free of all the drama, he was just in Las Vegas celebrating his birthday. He also has the “Drugs R Us” single and the remix with Lil Durk blowing up.
In Hip Hop Vibe’s first-ever phone/video interview, Boss Baka and myself talked about some of the ongoing situations. Boss Baka made it clear he had nothing to do with the “Chiraq” beef, but “Drugs R Us” was all him. He explained how Lil Durk wound up on the track, and much more.
