Probably the biggest thing going for the hip hop scene in Nashville, Tennessee is a man named Cashville’s Dice. Representing the city with his name, Cashville’s Dice is crafting anthem after anthem. Cashville’s Dice is currently working on his latest mixtape, which is called Rap or Die.

Cashville’s Dice has set the internet ablaze with his “Come to This” single. The recently-freed Turk, of Hot Boyz fame, is featured on the single. On the remix, Cashville’s Dice recruited Young Scooter, who is setting the mixtape game on fire right now. He came to him for the remix and “Come to This” is continuing to take the game.

Hip Hop Vibe talked to Cashville’s Dice about his “Come to This” single and the remix that features Young Scooter. “Come to This” is featured on the upcoming Trap-A-Holics mixtape, Rap or Die. Cashville’s Dice also spoke on how this mixtape is being arranged during the interview.

Read the entire interview below:

How are you feeling about this “Come to This” single? It’s cool. Actually, a lot of people like it more than I thought it would. This is more laid back than my style, but I’m rolling with it since the people like it.

You got Turk featured on the original version, how did you two connect? Oh man. Me and Turk connected through my guy at Picture Perfect who shoots Turk’s videos. I hit Turk up and we talked on the phone for a while, he heard the record, and then we put it together. Then, I told him to put his mixtape since mine is not due until months later. It is all love because we also added Young Scooter to the track and we’re shooting the video when he gets home.

You definitely went harder on the remix with Young Scooter, can you speak on how he got on the track? Scooter! It’s crazy man, me and Scooter did that record back when Future first dropped Pluto. He was on tour and we got to talking, but he was originally supposed to be on another Rap or Die record with Yung Ralph. At the time, Future was on tour, so Scooter was wrapped up, but he sent me the record and we did it. I originally had someone else planned for the song, but I decided to push this and he had just linked with Gucci Mane around that time, so it made perfect sense.

Do you have any more “Come to This” remixes in the works? No. (Laughs). We do not have any more remixes in the works. That is enough, but Rap or Die is loaded, it will be a movie. A lot of people jumped on the mixtape. The last session is tomorrow and then we move on into the final step.

Will you be doing any more work with Young Scooter in the future? I haven’t had the chance to talk to Young Scooter. It has been a while since the last time we talked, close to a year. When we first did the record, I think my fan base was bigger than his. But, his career took off and he got busy, so we did not have a chance to really talk. I am a major fan of his music, so I am definitely willing to work with him again, but it has been a while since we talked about doing anything.

Can you tell us more about the overall Rap or Die mixtape? Oh yeah. Rap or Die will be released on the fourth of July, hosted by Trap-A-Holics, DJ Frank White, and DJ Plugg. I got production from Lex Luger up there, Nito Beats on there. A lot of producers on the come-up that people have not heard up will be up there.

Who else will be featured on the tape? Project Pat, Alley Boy, Bo Deal, Turk, Young Scooter, 2Eleven, Yung Ralph, I reached out to OJ Da Juiceman for the record. Lil Lody is on the record with Lil Mook, I also have Tha Joker on there, it is going to be a movie, be on the look out.

What is it like to have Trap-A-Holics working on your project? Oh man. It’s crazy, just for me just growing up as a fan of Gucci Mane and coming from where I’m from, we watched Webbie, Gucci Mane, OJ Da Juiceman, and all those guys. I have been a fan of trap music for a long time, but me and Trap-A-Holics talk a lot. A lot of people do not see it, but Trap-A-Holics is underrated. I like to work to people that I am a fan of and that I listen to. So, this comes out a lot better than me and this is a blessing. DJ Frank White, I am a fan of his and DJ Plugg, both of those guys are also underrated and having them all on my projects is a blessing. This whole mixtape is raw and uncut, I am just bringing the gangsta music back to the world and to my city.

Why did you choose the 4th of July to drop this mixtape? Man, I chose to do it on this day because it is a special day for me. Some may not know, a lot do, but this day is special for me and a lot of people in the world. This is associated with people who know about this date and this is showing love to those people. I think it is dropping on this date for a reason and not because it is Independence Day, but there are many other reasons that I will get into when the date approaches. It will be crazy, I guarantee you.
