Hip hop fans in New York should know who DJ Will is, as he has made quite the name for himself. He rose the ranks on the New York club scene and soon began traveling the world as Ja Rule’s tour DJ. He also serves as the DJ for Bobby Shmurda, who is currently in prison.

DJ Will marks the first interview in a new series Hip Hop Vibe is developing, called “Legends Lounge.” This will be where many legends in the game sit down and tell their story. Our latest interview has DJ Will explaining his.

At the Latin Quarter Day Party, sponsored by Rel Tha Don, DJ Will was present and he talked to Hip Hop Vibe. DJ Will explained how meeting DJ Clark Kent was his first foray in the industry. He went onto discuss Bobby Shmurda and then go in-depth about his relationship with Ja Rule and how it has grown over the past seven years.
