For going on five years, Joe Morton has played Eli Pope, on “Scandal,” making him the father of Kerry Washington’s Olivia Pope. Long before this, Joe Morton was a big name, on television, and film. Morton has played on “Sanford & Son,” American Gangster, and other roles.

With “Scandal,” Joe Morton has become the household name that he was destined to be. Two years ago, Joe Morton talked to Hip-HopVibe.com, for the first time. Talking at the NAACP Image Awards, he discussed the popularity of the show.

Joe Morton caught up with Hip-HopVibe.com, at the Image Awards, once again. This time, he was talking to MJ, and they took on the discussion of people of color, in Hollywood. When speaking on black people being snubbed, Joe Morton said there needs to be more black content creators.
