Next month, Ne-Yo is releasing Good Man, his seventh studio album. It has been three years since Ne-Yo had a charting hit, so he’s eager to get back out there, and see what happens. The singer-turned-record executive has a lot planned.
However, Ne-Yo took some time off, earlier this month. Instead of focusing on his work, Ne-Yo stopped by VH1 for “Dear Mama,” where they all celebrated Mothers’ Day. Many of the biggest celebrities in the game were present for “Dear Mama,” this year.
Ne-Yo took time out to talk to Hip-HopVibe.com, when MJ caught up with him on the red carpet. The conversation was brief, as Ne-Yo discussed his mother and his favorite memories. In his own words (no pun intended), Ne-Yo said he was a “conniver,” but his mom always caught him.
