Every month, Hot 97 invades S.O.B.’s here in New York City for their Who’s Next? showcase. Evident in the title, this is Hot 97 scouting who could be the next major stars in the game. This recent showcase allowed for some exclusive access and interesting conversations.
Peter Rosenberg, Shani Kulture, and Steele of Smif N Wessun were standing nearby and we had a real hip hop conversation. For those who don’t know, Shani Kulture is a close friend and together we bring The Kulture Movement. Meanwhile, Steele, is a part of the legendary Smif N Wessun group.
Hip Hop Vibe had the chance to interview all of these guys at once, Peter Rosenberg discussing Hot 97’s upcoming Summer Jam and his role as a hip hop head. Shani Kulture talked about The Kulture Movement. Steele, however, spoke on his love for hip hop music and his artist who was performing.
