There was a time when Pleasure P was considered the future of R&B, back when R&B had a deep bench. But, the time between 2008 and the present, has seen a lot of transition. Aside from “Did U Wrong,” Pleasure P never really had his run.
Ten years later, Pleasure P is the veteran, returning to the game. But, before he was solo, he was 1/4 of Pretty Ricky, leading the group to three hit singles. However, this run only lasted two albums, making them the last of the R&B groups.
Pleasure P and the group returned, via “Love & Hip Hop Miami,” early this year. During Essence Fest, Pleasure P took time out to speak with Hip-HopVibe.com. The popular singer spoke on his new music, his recent single release, and he confirmed Pretty Ricky’s album, which is their final album, plus a tour, and much more.
