Ralph McDaniels HHVHip hop is so widespread that there is a lot to cover, but it seems that the leaders in coverage are not from the culture. It was not always this way, as Ralph McDaniels took it upon himself to document the culture. He did this with “Video Music Box,” helping open doors for many emcees.

Working on the visual side, Ralph McDaniels did music videos for the likes of Nas and Raekwon, among others. They have continued working with him over the years. Last year, Nas worked with Ralph McDaniels on his Time Is Illmatic documentary.
