Tonight, TV One will premiere When Love Kills, its new original movie, based on Falicia Blakely. Directed by Tasha Smith, When Love Kills follows Falicia (portrayed by Lil’ Mama), as she becomes an exotic dancer. This life leads her to meet Dino (Lance Gross), a local pimp.
Dino is a predator and he convinces Falisha to embark on a life with him, but he doesn’t live up to his promises. Ultimately, Falisha becomes a pawn in Dino’s schemes. These situations lead to Falisha endangering others for the love of her man.
Hip-HopVibe.com was on the red carpet of When Love Kills, for the screening. There, @MJThatMediaGurl caught up with Tasha Smith, Lance Gross, Lil’ Mama, Tiffany “New York” Pollard, and Ferrari Tru, as they spoke on the movie, their current work, and crazy things they’ve done for love. Each had a different, unusual story, which New York wins, of course, but Ferrari also has a story.
