Back in the day, Yo Yo scored a hit with her “You Can’t Play With My Yo Yo” single and it reaffirmed Los Angeles’ domination on the game. In the years since then, Yo Yo has gained her rightful position as a legend in hip hop. She is currently preparing for her role in BET’s upcoming reality series, “Sisters of Hip Hop.”
Last fall, Yo Yo talked to Hip Hop Vibe about her career and her role in the upcoming series. Recently, Charlotte was the place to be and Yo Yo definitely decided she wanted to be in the mix. Holding it down for the CIAA festivities, Yo Yo invited Hip Hop Vibe to come along for the ride.
Hip Hop Vibe was there with Yo Yo, as she stopped by Charlotte’s Power 98 and she talked to Greg Nice. During her interview with them, Yo Yo spoke about her time in Charlotte and the good time she planned to have. While she was in Charlotte, Yo Yo had a great time and it was obvious in the video.
