A major reason Los Angeles hip hop is in good hands is because of Young Sam, he has built a major fan base within the city. Last year, Young Sam and yours truly had the opportunity to hold BET down at “106 & Park” for Wild Out Wednesday. There is a lot of history with Young Sam.
Back in October, Young Sam released his Wake & Bake mixtape, which was another major success for him. Leading up to the mixtape, Young Sam released the cover of the mixtape exclusively on Hip Hop Vibe. It was good to know there is a lot of history with Young Sam and Hip Hop Vibe, also.
It was of great news to learn the next Hip Hop Vibe interview was with Young Sam and we met at Watts Towers in Los Angeles. In the interview, our time on “106 & Park” was discussed, as was fellow LA grinder, Reem Riches. Young Sam talked about the mixtape and also his next project.
