Curren$y started the summer of 2012 off with a bang, releasing his official debut album, The Stoned Immaculate, in June. On the heels of the album, Curren$y announced he would be joining forces with Harry Fraud. In 2011, Harry Fraud produced French Montana’s breakout hit, “Shot Caller,” immediately garnering him a larger following.
Teaming up with Harry Fraud, Curren$y announced their joint project, Cigarette Boats, which was released later in the summer of 2012. Cigarette Boats was well-received by both fans and critics. One standout track from their project was “Leaving the Dock,” which would become a single off the project.
On Wednesday, Curren$y and Harry Fraud released the official music video for “Leaving the Dock,” which continues the theme of the Cigarette Boats project. The music video has gone on to receive a warm reception from fans. At a time when most music videos are not given much attention and care, it is clear thought was put into “Leaving the Dock.”
