With this one, Drake has earned so much respect, because people have tried to clown him for who he is, his entire career. Many people have actually been shocked that a former “Degrassi” character could be big in rap. But, Drake has mentioned his past, in his music.
Drake, in the face of major beef, tackled his “Degrassi” past, head on. It came in the form of the “I’m Upset” music video. Not only did Drake reunite with his “Degrassi” cast, he started the video on the Raptors’ home court, and then chased down the dude who shot his character.
Nobody is influencing the culture more than Drake, right now, even though Cardi B is still running things. The “I’m Upset” music video continues a run of dope Drake videos to launch Scorpion, his fifth studio album. This video is the HHV Video of the Week for all of the above mentioned reasons.
