HHV Video of the Week: Zed Zilla ft. Yo Gotti and Shy Glizzy – “Got It On My Own”

Happy New Year everyone, good to see the game rebound after a tragic ending to last year. A bright spot in last year was the shift of focus back to the Memphis hip hop scene, where everyone shined. Zed Zilla did well and he closed the year on a high note with “Got It On My Own” with Yo Gotti and Shy Glizzy.

Of course, Zed Zilla and the other members of CMG started 2013 off on a strong note with the label deal with Epic Records. However, the year was more geared towards Yo Gotti putting out something of substance on a mainstream level. Possibly, this is the same situation for Zed Zilla in 2014.

That might be a little too deep into the subject, but “Got It On My Own” was a definite smash hit. When the music video came to start this transitional week out, it was definitely something the fans flocked to. Giving the fans what they want, Zed Zilla’s “Got It On My Own” is Hip Hop Vibe’s Video of the Week for the first Friday in 2014.
