During the spring, the first trailer for The Darkest Minds debuted. The movie follows a young woman, Ruby Daly (Amandla Stenberg). She is a young woman who develops psychic powers, but is shipped to a government camp, when this is discovered.
Ruby, as do her friends, develop psychic powers, and she goes about using them. Because of her powers, Ruby ends up with the battle of her life. The trailer is action-packed and it’s added to Amandla Stenberg’s rising celebrity status.
Lucky fans in several cities will have the chance to catch this movie early, courtesy of Hip-HopVibe.com. While the movie premiere is a ways off, fans can catch the movie on August 2. As always, remember, all tickets are first come, first serve.
