Hit-Boy talks Hits Since ’87 label with FUSE at SXSW 2013 [VIDEO]

Hard to say who actually tops the list, but Hit-Boy is one of the hottest producers in the game and this is proven by the people he is surrounded by. Among Hit-Boy’s inner circle is Kanye West, who has him signed to G.O.O.D. Music. During the summer of 2012, Hit-Boy received a major boost when he produced “Wish You Would” by DJ Khaled.

Hit-Boy has branched out since doing the summer anthem with DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, and Kanye West. In the time since then, the Los Angeles-based rapper/producer has focused more attention on Hits Since ’87 label. The roster also boasts K. Roosevelt, who appears on Game’s Jesus Piece and Audio Push.

While in Texas for SXSW 2013, FUSE caught up with Hit-Boy and he talked about the formation of Hits Since ’87. With him at the interview was K. Roosevelt and Audio Push and Hit-Boy explained his relationship with all the guys on the label. Hit-Boy said the label was formed to give young guys like himself an outlet.
