Hitkidd announces new “Renegade” album

Over the past year and a half, Hitkidd has become one of the hottest breakout producers in hip-hop. He’s produced hits for artists such as GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion, and more. The Memphis native’s initial breakout came in the spring of 2022, after going viral for producing GloRilla’s breakout “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” single.

Meanwhile, Hitkidd has also been working with fellow Memphis natives Aleza, K Carbon, Gloss Up, and Slimeroni, who’ve all also been some of the hottest new talents in Memphis. As a result, Hitkidd is linking up with all of them once again, for a joint album.

Furthermore, this joint album is “Renegade,” which is set to be released on December 8. Hitkidd initially confirmed this after K Carbon, Gloss Up, Slimeroni and Aleza all agreed to the idea of it, in a group text. Moreover, the producer has also been previewing some records off of Renegade.

Hitkidd has also since unveiled the Renegade tracklist. 17 songs will be available in total, including lead singles such as GloRilla’s F.N.F., “You The Type” and “Shabooya” by Aleza, K Carbon, Gloss Up, and Slimeroni, and more.

Hitkidd has beek working with these four ladies since 2021, as they were known for plenty of buzzing records such as “Set The Tone,” “Set The Tone 2,” and “Hot Potato” with GloRilla. Both Set The One records will also appear on Renegade.
