Going on twenty one years in the world of acting, Viola Davis is finally getting the recognition she’s worked so hard for. In this span of time, she has definitely risen the ranks. Back in 2014, Viola Davis landed her own series, “How To Get Away With Murder.”
Viola Davis’ lead role showed her journey from bit roles on “NYPD Blue” and “New York Undercover.” As far as her film career, Viola Davis is currently starring in Fences, opposite Denzel Washington. This is a long way away from 2001’s The Substance of Fire.
A few weeks ago, Viola Davis was revealed to be the next celebrity to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This afternoon, Davis officially received her star. Fans are excited for Viola Davis and she’s receiving much love on social media.
