If the Charlotte Hornets lost this game, Steve Clifford would have gone insane. Bad enough, they could have won each of the four games they lost in a row. But, the NBA is a long season, so it gives teams plenty of time to turn around.
People expect a lot out of the Charlotte Hornets, seeing how Kemba Walker is finally budding into a star and has a good team around him. But, the team has to learn and it starts by losing winnable games. Their last game against the Knicks was winnable, so they had to do it.
Hornets fans were excited when the season began, because they were winning so many games. But, they weren’t able to keep it going and they got upset. Tonight, Jeremy Lamb didn’t allow the game to be another loss, returning from injury like a madman and his former UConn teammate, Kemba Walker brought it home, giving fans something to cheery about.
