Everyone goes through something in life, but what some experience is just more profound than others. What a person experiences is not who they are, but it has a strong influence on them. The things experienced by Hosea Chanchez led to his success, as an actor.

Hosea Chanchez rose to fame, in 2006, as a main character on the hit sitcom, “The Game.” Since that show ended, he has had successes on other sitcoms, and has done some movies. Now with a big platform, he decided to share a painful experience.

Long before Hosea Chanchez had fame, playing Malik Wright, he was just a young man trying to make it in Alabama. Like most kids, he had his friends, and relationships with the parents. The father of one of his friends began pushing the boundaries with a young Chanchez, before eventually molesting him.
