Iamsu! talks Bay Area hip hop with “Sway in the Morning” [VIDEO]

Hip hop has changed and this is one thing that always can be confirmed. In California, very few people would have envisioned a day when the Bay Area would be forming alliances with Los Angeles. But, here it is with Iamsu! and Problem, as almost all of their projects come out as joint releases.

Iamsu! works closely with Problem, but the fact remains that he is a Bay Area artist and he is focused on rebuilding this scene. There is a lot stacked against a full-fledged comeback in the Bay, but Los Angeles faced these same problems. If Los Angeles was able to turn it around, so can Oakland and San Francisco.

Sway Calloway talked to Iamsu! on Shade 45 for “Sway in the Morning” and they spoke on the Bay Area hip hop scene. Few actually remember this, but Sway Calloway is actually a product of this Bay Area hip hop scene. Iamsu! spoke with him about what it would take to bring the scene back.
