Ice Spice named Best New Hip-Hop Artist at iHeartRadio Awards
The annual iHeart Radio Music Awards are currently being held inside the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Moreover, many of the awards have already been announced, including in the category of Best New Hip-Hop Artist.
As a result, Ice Spice was officially named Best Hip-Hop Artist. She earned this win over other stars, such as Lola Brooke, Doechii, Sexyy Red, and Young Nudy.
This win for Spice comes after a massive breakout 2024 for the Bronx native. She was able to consistency create hits, which included “In Ha Mood,” “Princess Diana” remix with Nicki Minaj, “Deli,” as well as “Barbie World” with Nicki Minaj and Aqua. That record went on to appear on the “Barbie” movie soundtrack.
Moreover, Spice was also nominated for Grammys, in February. These included in the categories of Best New Artist, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Song Written For Visual Media.
Ice Spice’s first single of 2024, also arrived in late January, which was “Think U The S*it (Fart). This went on to see a number 37 in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Moreover, many presumed that to be a Latto diss record.
