Ice Spice performs as Betty Boop during Powerhouse NYC
This weekend, many are already celebrating Halloween, by holding various parties and concerts. This includes those who actually are performing as well, which includes Ice Spice.
On Saturday night, Ice Spice was really in the Halloween spirit, as she performed on stage as the iconic Betty Boop cartoon character, at Powerhouse New York City. Moreover, viral clips surfaced of her performing her “Deli” single, during this show. Furthermore, Lil Uzi Vert, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Lil Durk, Lola Brooke and more also all went on to perform at Powerhouse. These performance were held inside the Prudential Center, in Newark, NJ. This comes two weeks after Spice performed on “SNL.”
Meanwhile, Ice Spice has had a massive breakout year, since August 2022. 2023 has seen her put out her debut “Like..?” EP, which included even more hits, such as “Princess Diana,” “Gangsta Boo” featuring Lil Tjay, and “In Ha Mood.” The Princess Diana remix was released in the spring, which contained a huge feature from the legendary Nicki Minaj. “Deli” went on to appear on the”Like..?” deluxe, in July. That came after Spice dropped “Barbie World” with Nicki and Aqua for the “Barbie” movie soundtrack, and was also featured on Taylor Swift’s “Karma” remix. Furthermore, Spice also launched her own Ice Spice Munch Drink at Dunkin’ last month, which even earned a commercial for it with her and actor Ben Affleck.
